The AUW seeks to offer a world-class education that will promote social awareness and leadership. The most appropriate skills for leadership development are realized through an education in the liberal arts and sciences that promotes critical thinking and problem solving over rote learning. The curriculum’s focus on critical thinking, active knowledge acquisition, and entrepreneurship is based on the aim of providing a comprehensive education that combines the benefits of a strong foundation in higher education with a keen awareness of regional issues and problems.
