The first program to launch at AUW, the Access Academy, is based temporarily in a modern building complex in the city of Chittagong. At 75,000 sq. ft., the facilities include academic and residential spaces for students and faculty, a modest library, computer labs, dining hall, and gym/exercise facilities. Located in the heart of urban Chittagong, the Academy is approximately 15 minutes from the permanent site of the Asian University for Women.

The University’s undergraduate program will open in similar leased facilities as part of this complex in Chittagong while the permanent campus is being designed and built.  The site for the future campus of the Asian University for Women is situated on 100+ acres in the serene and scenic hills of Chittagong in Bangladesh.  The master plan for the campus has been designed by the internationally renowned architectural firm Moshe Safdie and Associates. When built, the campus will be a world-class facility that ensures the safety, security and comfort of our community.

The campus will consist of modern facilities for teaching, lectures, meetings, group activities, student organizations, religious observances and physical activity.  It will also include medical facilities, up-to-date IT resources, fully equipped science laboratories and performance spaces.
